Delete your account
You can delete your Bocado account and everything you recorded. You do not owe us an explanation.
From the app
Go to the account section and choose to delete the account. It asks for your password, because it is the one action with no way back. It happens right away.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, write to us from your account’s email address. We delete it within 30 calendar days and confirm when it is done.

What gets deleted
- Your account and your sign-in details.
- Your whole record: meals, water, weight, sleep, exercise and routines.
- Anything you entered for blood pressure, glucose and lab results.
- Your conversations with the assistant and your reminders.
- The dishes you shared with the community.
- The link with your coach, if you had one. They stop seeing your data.
What is kept. Nothing of yours. We keep no copy just in case: deleting means deleting. If you need your information, export it from the app first, because afterwards there is nowhere to get it from.
Before you delete
From the account section you can export everything of yours into a file. It is the same content that is about to be deleted.
